The Dentronix performance box joint
Keeps your tips stable during cutting
Dentronix has chosen the traditional European box joint style of construction for our pliers to give you the best performance and most reliable results. To create a box joint, one side of the plier handle slides through an opening on the other side. This creates a secure, stable joint. Other manufacturers use a lap joint, similar to household scissors, in which one side of the plier lays over the other with a screw or pin inserted to hold the two sides together thus allowing scissoring of the tips. To ensure stable, trouble-free cutting, depend on the Dentronix plier with the "box joint."
